Terms.
These terms apply when you use plainradar.com, its API and its agent (MCP) connection. By using Plainradar, you agree to them.
The service
Plainradar searches public news feeds for the topics you ask about and shows matching stories with their headline, source, a short summary and a link to the original article. Trackers repeat a search on a schedule and deliver new stories by email, webhook or Google Sheet. Results are chosen and ranked automatically, partly with AI, so they can be incomplete or include stories that don't fit.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 and give an email address you can receive mail at.
- Keep your password and agent tokens secret. You are responsible for what happens with your account and tokens.
- One account per person. Don't share it.
Plans and limits
The free plan includes a limited number of credits. A search, a topic tracker update and an Explore use one credit each; loading more results (within a search) and noise filters are included. Agents use the same credits. Site trackers use no credits; the free plan limits how many sites you can follow. We may change the limits of the free plan.
Buying credits
- You can buy credit packs under Account with a one-time payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Prices are in US dollars and include any VAT or sales tax due. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Bought credits are added to your account as soon as the payment goes through, never expire, and are used the same way as the free plan's credits. They can't be transferred to another account or exchanged for money.
- Refunds: if you live in the EU or the UK, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of making it, without giving a reason, and we'll refund the full payment. Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account. If something else went wrong with a purchase, write to us too.
- When a payment is refunded or reversed, the credits it bought are taken off your account.
Fair use
Don't use Plainradar to break the law, to get around its limits (for example with several accounts), to overload or attack it, to scrape it outside the API, or to resell it. We may suspend accounts that do.
News content
Articles belong to their publishers. We show only headlines, short summaries and links, and you read the full article on the publisher's site. We don't write, check or endorse the news we find, and we aren't responsible for third-party sites. If you believe something we show infringes your rights, write to [email protected].
Availability
We work to keep Plainradar running well, but we provide it "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We may change or discontinue features.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions made based on the news Plainradar finds. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time under Account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy policy.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update them here and change the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you by email before they apply.
